Megan Amaturo is an Officer Wellness Specialist with extensive experience in policing and public health. A former police officer, she served at both the local and federal levels in roles including patrol, long-term undercover operations, court security, and dignitary protection—giving her a deep, lived understanding of the unique challenges officers face.
Megan is skilled in developing and delivering evidence-based wellness programs tailored to the needs of law enforcement. In addition to her work in program development, she contributes to officer support efforts as a volunteer with COPLINE, helping prepare crisis line responders to assist officers and their families during times of need.
She previously worked as a Senior Project Manager at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), where she led national initiatives to improve officer safety, wellness, and suicide prevention. Megan earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins University as a Bloomberg American Health Initiative Fellow in Violence Prevention.
