Police Wellness
There is a growing belief that psychology research can and should be used not only to identify pathological psychological conditions but also to identify and promote adaptive psychological states as well. The promotion of well-being is a manifestation of this growing belief.

Law enforcement officers face various challenges, including exposure to violence, trauma, and organizational stress, all of which can significantly affect their well-being and those they serve. It is concerning that, in recent years, more officers have tragically died by suicide than in the line of duty. By prioritizing mental health support and overcoming the stigma around seeking help, we can strive for a brighter future where everyone feels valued and safe.
